Between 4.30am and 5.15am 91 children and 19 adults from across the academy trust set of for the First World War battlefields of the Ypres Salient. We visited Hill 62 and walked through original trenches and tunnels, Tyne Cot Cemetery and the 1917 Paschendale Museum.  We finished our day by taking part in the Last Post Ceremony at The Menin Gate where three of our pupils laid a wreath. What a great day and memories that will last a life time.
